The beauty of a Flower Run

Running isn’t my thing. It’s hard on the joints and takes a ton of endurance. But I do LOVE running in intervals. My typical “run” looks like:

5 min walk (warm-up)
2 minute jog
1 minute walk
2 minute jog
1 minute walk
Etc. Repeat X amount of times. I usually repeat it at least 7 times for 21 minutes of cardio.
5 min walk (cool-down)

The beauty of a Flower Run isn’t just the beautiful flowers. It’s the beautiful time to take breaks when you’re near out of breath, to capture and appreciate nature, and to have fun exercising.

It sure motivates me to put on my running shoes, because I know I won’t just be running. I’ll be walking, connecting with nature, and smiling.
