Worried you’re not flexible enough for yoga?
I know yoga can look intimidating and some yoga poses look totally out of reach but that is only one way to look at and practice yoga.
In every type of yoga there is a focus on your breath and letting your breath guide you through your body. Your breath can really take you to places you didn’t know about and places you’ve chosen to forget about aka emotions and pain.
And I know for a fact that we all can breathe. Maybe with assistance, but yoga even if super modified can be for everyone.
So when you’re just starting out, please, do not fret that you’re not doing actual yoga. Showing up to the practice and taking a breath is enough.
I encourage you to go take that beginner yoga class at your local studio or that restorative yoga class on YouTube. Just stretch it out and if you’re breathing through it you’re doing yoga :).
